The expansive grounds host only eight private villas and refined dining spaces, creating an atmosphere of exclusivity and tranquility amidst nature

    Location

With UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Sigiriya and Dambulla within easy reach, and just 40 minutes from Kandy, home to the sacred Temple of the Tooth, Ayu Piyasa is ideally located. It is the perfect destination for those wishing to immerse themselves in the essence of Ayurveda while exploring the rich cultural heritage of Sri Lanka

  • Ayurvedic Treatment

With an Ayurvedic doctor and specialized therapists on-site, guests receive comprehensive consultations addressing both mental and physical wellbeing. Each consultation includes a full assessment—such as weight, blood pressure, and pulse diagnosis—to determine the balance of the doshas. Based on these findings, the doctor prescribes a personalized daily program of treatments, diet, and herbal medicines tailored to individual needs

Ayurveda therapies may include Abhyanga (full-body massage), Shirodhara, Herbal Baths, Medicinal Herbal ball and Milk Rice Ball therapy, as well as classical Panchakarma treatments.

Diet, oils, and herbal remedies are thoughtfully selected by the doctor to support optimal healing and restoration

The herbal oils used in our treatments remain true to the principles of Ayurveda. Crafted with an abundance of Sri Lankan botanicals—ranging from a select few to blends of over one hundred varieties—they are designed to maximize therapeutic effectiveness while honoring authentic Ayurvedic tradition

  • Anatomical Release Therapy

Anatomical Release Therapy (ART) is a comprehensive approach designed to restore the body's natural alignment, encompassing the physical, mental, and nervous systems. By addressing ligament and fascial adhesions, ART facilitates pain relief, reduces emotional stress, and promotes overall balance and well-being. Restoring the skeletal structure to its optimal anatomical position supports healthy joint and muscle function, thereby enhancing posture, movement, and resilience

Beyond its physical benefits, ART is also highly effective for individuals dealing with mental health issues or trauma, often leading to significant healing and transformation. ART acts as a therapeutic mirror, reflecting existing patterns within the body and psyche. It offers a secure and supportive environment to explore these patterns, fostering a connection with the inherent resources and wisdom within

During a session, it's common to experience physical or emotional responses like tension, resistance, or discomfort. These sensations are integral to the healing process, indicating movement toward release and integration. ART provides a safe space for your system to release what is no longer needed, guiding the body, mind, and soul back into harmony and facilitating a return to your authentic self

We are all interconnected fractals of the universe. Just as stars form meaningful constellations, acupoints within the body function in relation to each other. By stimulating not only the areas of pain but also related points, ART can release emotions and trauma, harmonize energy flow, and realign the body, mind, and spirit. Through ART, you can experience profound healing and reconnection with your true self

  • Ayurvedic Cuisine

At Ayu Piyasa, organic vegetables, fruits, and spices are cultivated on the estate, ensuring every meal is prepared with the freshest ingredients. Mornings begin with the gentle sounds of wild birds and a refreshing walk in the pure, green air. A warm, herb-infused porridge awakens the body from within, followed by a therapeutic breakfast of ripe fruits and garden-fresh vegetables. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented, offering nourishment for both body and soul

Exquisite Combinations of Spices and Herbs

Sri Lankan cuisine is celebrated for its curries—each one individually prepared to highlight a single ingredient, such as tender green beans or creamy potatoes. The delicate aromas of freshly ground spices awaken the appetite, inviting guests to savor several curries together in harmony on the plate

Vegetables take center stage, with chicken offered as the only meat option (vegetarian meals are also available). Moderately spiced dishes, enjoyed daily, naturally enhance digestion while leaving you satisfied without excess. To complete the experience, each meal concludes with fresh seasonal fruit or a light Ayurvedic-inspired dessert—simple pleasures that make every dining moment memorable
